VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITIES

Members: Sign-up sheets available at Spring Meeting

As part of their membership at St. Andrew's Community Garden, each member is required to complete a minimum of six volunteer hours toward the general maintenance & upkeep of the garden each season. **These hours are outside of the time you may spend working on your own plot or pathways.

There are a wide variety of jobs available, and we do our best to make sure that there are jobs for every ability. Emails are sent out periodically requesting volunteers to complete certain tasks, some of which include:

  • filling the water barrels
  • keeping our sheds tidy
  • common pathway maintenance
  • Food Bank weeding & watering
  • Food Bank harvesting & delivery

We also host Maintenance Days throughout the season, where we tackle bigger jobs that need more hands on deck.

Non-Members

We are happy to host non-member volunteers when we can, especially students looking to fulfill their volunteer hour graduation requirements. Please contact us if you're looking for ways to give back to your community!
